Welcome to Waxwing Wines
We use traditional methods to craft limited-production Pinot Noir and
Syrah from the Sonoma Coast. Our winemaker and proprietor, Scott
Sisemore, brings his drive, experience, and deep knowledge of red wine
production to shape the wines from grape harvest to bottling.

Waxwing News & Reviews

Spring Release Party: Saturday, March 17th from 2 to 5 pm. Join us
at the San Carlos winery to officially release the new Waxwing
vintage: 2011 Pinot Rose, 2010 Spring Hill Pinot Noir and Sonoma
Syrah. Bring your friends and join us for some delicious wine and
food pairings. Free and kid friendly. 1001 Washington Street, San
Carlos, CA.
Waxwing Wine Club: Our wine club consists of two allotments per
year. In the Spring we ship our Pinot Noir and in the Fall we ship
Syrah. You pick how many bottles you'd like to receive (3 bottle
minimum). Members enjoy a 20% discount on the wine. There's no
cost to join, no monthly dues and you can cancel anytime. Local (SF
mid-peninsula) delivery is free OR you can pick up the wine at our
Spring and Fall tasting parties. Call or email to join.
We continue to add exciting new Waxwing placements. In Belmont,
Vivace Ristorante has the 2009 Flocchini Syrah on their wine list.
Plus, you can now find Waxwing on the shelf at The Half Moon Bay
Wine and Cheese Co., K &L Wine Merchants and Toast Wine Lounge
(Oakland).
The Prince of Pinot (Pinotfile Newsletter) gave our 2009 Sonoma
Coast Pinot Noir his top rating for both QUALITY and VALUE. Read
the tasting notes here. This wine is SOLD OUT at the winery and
can only be found at select retailers that carry our wine.
